We are, João Vicente and Alexandre Costa, volunteer photographers for the association “Doctors of the World” (MdM.pdf)

with fulfilled missions in Portugal, Guinea-bissau and East Timor, join together in a project to observe and record the reality of the American continent through 16 different countries.

Six months along photographing we will freeze moments of daily life of people, work, way of life, emotions, their unique and unrepeatable existence.

Doing this we are making a self-portrait of society and in substance of ourselves.

Some of this moments will be recorded to the association “Doctors of the World” and other to the edition of a book.
